Brian served at Malalinga/Edinburgh Field in 1965 then Abingdon, Gibralter, Staff College Bracknell, Episkopi, Debden, Supply Control Centre Hendon and finally left the RAF in Feb 1988 as a WO whilst at Benson.
He then worked for Thame Oxon as Global Electronic Chip Distributor retiring in 2003 as Director of Operations in Europe. Brian's main hobbies are dancing and National Hunt horseracing with some success in syndicates since 1994. Sadly his wife passed away in 2016 and decided to stay iin Wantage, Oxon. where he's live since 1983
Dave left the RAF in 1999 as a WO after having served 39 years! He was awarded the BEM in 1980 and the MBE in 1999. One of the most interesting postings was a tour in Ohio USA where he was responsible for the logistical support of the C130. He also had two tours at RAF Hereford, where he was an instructor and later the WO Supply Training.
Roger left the mob in 1973 as a corporal having served at Scampton, Lyneham, Abingdon (UKMAMS), Muharraq and Nordhorn. He immediately emigrated to the States. He married his American wife 44 years ago and they have 2 very successful kids and 2 new grand kids. Roger worked in engineering at structural steel design and drafting, recently retired. He now lives in Crown Point, Indiana which is about 30 miles south of Chicago, Illinois.
Peter left the RAF in 1984 as a Sgt and is now a Careers Officer. He lives in Kidderminster, Worcs.
Brian retired in 1998 as a WO and was then employed in the Supply Section at RAF Stafford until final retirement in 2008. He's been a Councillor of the Stafford Borough Council and was Deputy Mayor in year 08-09. Brian's also a School Governor of Parkside Primary School and Vice Chairman of the Audit Committee of 395 Sqn ATC.
Roy left the RAF as a FS in 1985 and now lives in Tapton, near Chesterfield.
Dennis served at Malalinga/Edinburgh Field in 1965 and left the RAF as a Cpl in 1974 and now lives in Lyndney, Glos.
Patrick Hirst - recoursed to 42nd
After leaving Bircham Patrick saw service at Stafford (62-65), Butterworth (65-67), Fairford & Abingdon (68-70), Muharraq (71) and Brize Norton (72-73). He remustered to Movs Cont and left the RAF as an SAC in 1973.
He then worked in Civil Aviation at Gatwick and by 1995 had joined his wife's company until they sold their interest. They now run a riding stables near East Grinstead, Sussex.
Colin was discharged in Dec 1984 as a Sgt to live in Swinton near Manchester and still going strong in 2013.
He left the mob in 1968 and worked in textiles and central heating before joining the Touring Caravan industry in 1975 to the present day. Dave now lives in Mablethorpe, Lincs.
Mike was first posted to Waddington and served 3 tours with the V-Force interspersed with 2 years in Kenya and a year on Movements in Bahrain. He left the RAF in 1973 as a Cpl and moved into agricultural engineering, before opening his own Telecoms company in Lincoln which he ran for 25 years. He is now happily retired and living with his wife Pat and dog Harvey in Aubourn near Lincoln.
Roger's initial posting was to Colerne and thence to Borneo for a year. Then St Mawgan and a detachment to Majunga (NW Madagascar) to support the S.Rhodesia blockade. Syerston followed, then Cyprus and finally Stafford; leaving as a Cpl in 1973.
He initially moved to Walsall for five yrs, Northumberland briefly, another 12 yrs in Leicester before finally moving to Somerset. During this time he worked for a couple of companies, mainly in Sales, ultimately spending a long time with Autoglass as Sales Manager and finishing in 2003.

Des served at Benson, TSR2 Project and Maralinga/Edinburgh Field 1963/ 1965 before starting training as a Nav in the late 60s. Converted to Andovers at Abingdon, Thorney Is and Muharraq. Later did tours as an Instructor and as Command Examiner before leaving the RAF as a Sqn Ldr in 1976.
Ken spent 17 years in the RAF wandering aroud Aden, Malta, Bruggen plus multi corners of the U.K. including 1 Sqn Harriers Mobile Supply. He originally put in his notice in 1975. After a few jobs he settled as a sales planner in a cellophane factory where he enjoyed 20 years before being replaced by a computer!!
Norman remustered to Movs Cont and left the RAF as a Cpl in 1974. He is now living in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
Mick left the RAF as a Cpl in 1969 and worked in the City until retiring in 2006 to Gt. Tey, Essex.
